We shopped over 10 different companies in broward county, only 6 even showed up. Cooling Dynamics did the most extensive review of our home and current A/C system prior to giving a quote. Cooling Dynamics was not the cheapest company, but when you compare the fact the cheap guys looked at Air handler and sat in his truck for ten minutes and wrote a quote that was a bit scary.They showed up on time, even took pictures of the install as they were doing it, He found many problems with past repair/install that were causing our old system to not be as effective as it could have been. Fixed everything perfectly professionally. They cleaned up after themselves and were done in just a few hours. We had an entire new 4 ton system installed we immediately notice it was much cooler in our house, and the system did not run all day. We actually noticed it does shut off at times. Never has this happen in the summer time living here for ten years. We use a Nest thermostat and it tracks the hours your system runs and we averaged 22-23 hours with old system and now 12-13 hours. Our AC stopped working over the 4th of July holiday weekend, and with a 5-month old, we needed quotes fast. Out of several companies that we called, Cooling Dynamics was the most responsive and quickest to come out! Our AC was fixed by Charles, the company Owner. We called these guys after our A/C stopped cooling, and I saw a recommendation for them on our local NextDoor website. We had a system that was 11 years old, but aside from being a Bryant (bottom-end of Carrier) was otherwise working except that it gradually stopped blowing cold air.I called them at 7:30 in the morning, and they promised someone would be there between 4 and 6pm. Joe called me to say he was running a bit late, but they still showed up within the window they gave me.They told me that they don't charge a different price for different days of the week or times of the day. A service call is a service call and I could have called them the evening before.Turned out to be a coolant leak, and rather than spend lots of time trying to figure out which coil was leaking, and then spend nearly half of what a new system would cost - we invited them to give us a quote. In the meantime, they put in enough refrigerant to get our system cooling again, and told us to call if we noticed it starting to be ineffective again.They gave us an extremely reasonable quote for a 4-ton replacement system, with an upgrade on equipment from Bryant to Rheem (Ruud).They showed up when they said they would, and in about 4 hours we had a brand new system up and cooling the house.They cleaned up every mess they made so that you couldn't tell they had been there.This is a two-man company that seems to stand by their work. They are honest and forthright and most importantly in today's world, their word appears to be their bond. If you aren't happy, they aren't happy.I've used one of the big names in the area and these guys beat the pants off of them for service.Chuck and Joe will fix your system and charge you a fair price and they will do it today, or at the latest, tomorrow. If they can't fix it, they will quote you the best possible replacement they can give you at the fairest price they can offer.
